*The Need in White County: Alcohol is the drug most often used by White County youth:
Our youth have their first drink at an average age of 12.6 years.
30.8% of 10th graders have used alcohol within the last 30 days.
41.1% of 12th graders have used alcohol within the last 30 days.
4.7% of 6th graders and 11.5% of 8th graders report binge drinking within the last 2 weeks.
